Charlottesville's Young Women Leaders Program is celebrating 15 years of service to young women. Tuesday, the Charlottesville organization hosted a fundraiser in honor of their decade and a half of work in the community.
On Tuesday, the James River Green Building Council hosted a luncheon at CitySpace in Charlottesville with guest speaker Scott Titanish from LiveRoof. The company installed a four-inch deep green roof on top of the SNL Financial Tower and another green roof at the University of Virginia's Medical Research Building #5.
LiveRoof, which is locally distributed by Riverbend, is no stranger to the Charlottesville area despite its Riner location. It has installed green roofs on the SNL Financial building in downtown Charlottesville, U.Va.’s biomedical engineering and medical science building and private residences throughout the area.
