The event is a response to the violent death of UVa. lacrosse player, Yeardley Love. The day-long event is set for September 24. The University of Virginia’s Board of Visitors on Tuesday unanimously backed $22.9 million worth of repairs and renovations to the Rotunda. The Thomas Jefferson-designed Rotunda has been showing signs of aging.
