The temporary wooden pedestrian access corridor that runs between the Bavaro Hall courtyard and Ruffner Hall at the University of Virginia will be closed from Monday through Aug. 10 due to asbestos abatement at the southeast end of Ruffner Hall, part of the building’s ongoing renovation.

Pedestrians traveling east and west may use McCormick Road sidewalks, Emmet Street sidewalks or pathways by the Dell as alternate routes. The closed area will be marked with signs.
