The University of Virginia’s historic Rotunda was aglow Friday and Saturday during a two-night projection mapping show that drew a crowd of excited onlookers. They were masked and spaced apart, but still came together for the second of five projection mapping shows planned through the “Brighter Together” project, presented by UVA Arts, the Office of the Provost and Vice Provost for the Arts and the Division of Student Affairs. Artist Jeff Dobrow is designing the shows.
Organizers hope the shows will provide a safe way for the UVA community to come together and enjoy some beautiful art. Three more shows remain, each beginning at dusk and playing on loop for several hours.
