For Wahoos sans automobiles, bicycles can be the best way from point A to point B. But with parents and tools at home, keeping the gears spinning and brakes gripping can be a challenge. Mechanics from Charlottesville’s Community Bikes, a local nonprofit, stopped by the University of Virginia’s Grounds on Monday to fix flats, tighten cables and repair whatever else needed attention in a visit sponsored by UVA’s Division of Parking and Transportation.
