The plan includes a new centrally located “academic innovation hub,” plus renovations to faculty and student learning spaces, enhancements to promote accessibility and wellness, and development of residential housing.

Kibbe comes to UVA from her role as the Colin G. Thomas Jr. Distinguished Professor and chair of the Department of Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
