The longtime faculty member and the “soul” of the Darden School of Business left a legacy of academic excellence and community service.

The latest gift from a prominent UVA Darden alumnus will go toward pioneering artificial intelligence at the business school and a new residential college.

The gift supports faculty excellence, the student experience, and the Darden Grounds and infrastructure.

The plan includes a new centrally located “academic innovation hub,” plus renovations to faculty and student learning spaces, enhancements to promote accessibility and wellness, and development of residential housing.
