Daylight Saving Time Begins March 9

February 20, 2008 — Under the U.S. Energy Policy Act of 2005, Daylight Saving Time is observed from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November —
almost two thirds of the year. Daylight time officially begins at 2 a.m. March 9 and ends Nov. 2. Set clocks forward one hour before going to bed on Saturday and you'll be on time when you wake up.
