Faculty: Please Fill Out Survey by May 29

May 18, 2012 — Members of the University of Virginia faculty have only a few days left to participate in the survey launched by the Faculty Senate several weeks ago. In consideration of the end-of-semester crunch, the deadline for submitting responses has been extended to May 29.

"We have responses from over 1,000 faculty so far, and the results are going to be compelling," said Tom Guterbock, director of the U.Va. Center for Survey Research. "If you've ever wanted to voice your opinion on which issues the University community should really be working on, this is your chance."

The survey is endorsed by U.Va. President Teresa A. Sullivan and Executive Vice President and Provost John Simon, as well as the Faculty Senate. Results of the anonymous survey will be shared with the University community next fall.

Faculty members have previously been sent email messages that contain the electronic link to start the online survey, finish a partially completed questionnaire or obtain further information. For questions or for help linking in, email Robin Bebel at rbebel@virginia.edu.
