University of Virginia swimmer Kate Douglass is an Olympic veteran whose trophy case brims with awards. Pole vaulter Bridget Guy Williams was lingering in 11th place in Olympic qualifying but suddenly sprang into first place and a national championship, clearing a trip to Paris.

Twenty-one current or former Wahoos will represent the United States and eight other countries in the Paris Olympics and Paralympics. That includes swimming sisters Alex and Gretchen Walsh, tennis players Emma Navarro and Danielle Collins, and triple-jumper Jordan Scott.
