Dec. 8, 2009 — A legislative forum in advance of the 2010 session of the Virginia General Assembly will be held Dec. 21 at the University of Virginia.
The forum will be in Newcomb Hall Ballroom from 3 to 4 p.m. Participants will share viewpoints about issues facing the General Assembly, including those that affect the future of higher education and health care. There will be time for audience questions.
Four Virginia legislators from Central Virginia are scheduled to attend: State Sen. Emmett W. Hanger Jr., R-Mount Solon; Del. R. Steven Landes, R-Weyers Cave; Del. Robert B. Bell, R-Albemarle; and Del. David Toscano, D-Charlottesville. U.Va. President John T. Casteen III also plans to attend.
