In Memoriam: Nancy Sloan Lawson

Nancy Sloan Lawson, 79, died Aug. 5 in Charlottesville. She was a former University of Virginia administrator.

She held a variety of local jobs and volunteer roles, including a stint as assistant director of the Jefferson Institute for Lifelong Learning, now the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
