William Arthur "Bill" Booth, 86, former executive director of the University of Virginia Medical Alumni Association, died on Dec. 24 in Charlottesville. He served in his position from 1960 until 1992. Upon his retirement, he was named executive director emeritus and was retained by successive deans of the Medical School, Drs. Robert Carey and Arthur Garson, as a consultant on medical alumni affairs, a position he held until his death.
