Sept. 12, 2006 -- Best-selling author John Grisham will speak on his forthcoming book, "The Innocent Man" on Thursday, Sept. 14, at 4:30 p.m. in Caplin Pavilion at U.Va.'s School of Law. Grisham's talk is sponsored by the Law School's Criminal Law Colloquium, the Virginia Innocence Project, and the Student Legal Forum.
Grisham, author of such well-known legal thrillers as “A Time to Kill,” “The Firm” and “The King of Torts” will speak at the University of Virginia School of Law about his first work of non-fiction, "The Innocent Man: Murder and Injustice in a Small Town." Grisham's talk is sponsored by the Law School's Criminal Law Colloquium, the Virginia Innocence Project and the Student Legal Forum.
