March 2, 2012 — A temporary sidewalk will be installed and traffic lanes closed March 5-11 on Alderman Road near the University of Virginia's Aquatic & Fitness Center due to residence hall construction.

Alderman Road will not be closed, but flaggers will direct traffic around temporary construction obstructions. Traffic lanes will be fully open by 6 p.m. each day.

The Alderman Road Residence Halls project will shift the entrance of Tree House Drive. Two temporary crosswalks will be created to allow pedestrians to move safely around the roadwork.
