Tickets for 2011 Heritage Theatre Festival Season Available Beginning June 3

June 2, 2011 — Online sales of season subscriptions for the 2011 Heritage Theatre Festival will begin Friday at 10 a.m., and are available here.

The summer begins on a classic note when the Lerner and Loewe musical, "My Fair Lady," comes to the Culbreth Theatre stage beginning June 30. Next is the French farce "Boeing, Boeing," opening July 14, charting the romantic misadventures of a swinging '60s French architect trying to juggle three stewardess paramours at the same time. Keeping the comedy going will be "The 39 Steps," a hyper-speed whodunit set to the mysterious rhythms of the master of horror, Alfred Hitchcock. Wrapping up the season will be "She Loves Me," opening July 28, a musical concoction that is made from equal parts lonely hearts, mistaken identity and true love.

Single tickets for Heritage Theatre Festival productions will go on sale June 10. They will be available online, in-person at the U.Va. Arts Box Office (in the lobby of the Culbreth Theatre building) or by calling 434-924-3376.
