UVA to Hear, Discuss Community Members’ Concerns in Monday Town Hall Webinar

The University of Virginia will host a virtual town hall for community members Monday to discuss plans and answer questions about the fall semester.

The moderated question-and-answer session and discussion will take place via Zoom teleconferencing software at 5 p.m. EST and will include President Jim Ryan, Provost Liz Magill, Executive Vice President for Health Affairs Craig Kent, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer J.J. Davis, Vice President and Chief Student Affairs Officer Pat Lampkin, Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Kevin McDonald, Director of Hospital Epidemiology Costi Sifri, Department of Medicine Chair Mitchell Rosner and Equity Center Executive Director Ben Allen.

Community members wishing to participate can register here and submit any questions they have for UVA leaders.

Live captioning will be provided during the event, and a recording with closed captioning will be available afterward.

A similar town hall for faculty, students and staff is set to take place on Friday at 11 a.m.
