On Friday, the University of Virginia will host a virtual town hall for the parents and families of students, providing updates and addressing questions about the fall semester.

The moderated question-and-answer session and discussion will take place via Zoom on Friday at 3 p.m. Parents and family members wishing to participate can register here and submit questions for UVA leaders.

The town hall will include UVA President Jim Ryan, Provost Liz Magill, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer J.J. Davis, Vice President and Chief Student Affairs Officer Pat Lampkin, Associate Vice President and University Dean of Students Allen Groves and Department of Medicine Chair Mitchell Rosner.

Live captioning will be provided during the event and a recording with closed captioning will be available afterward.

The University held two other town halls within the past week, one for students, faculty and staff last Friday, and one for community members from Charlottesville and surrounding areas on Monday.
