VIDEO TIP SHEET: The New Role of Electronic Media in Politics

Sept. 14, 2007 — Mark Warner's announcement via email and an online video message that he will run for the U.S. Senate (and the Republican response via the same means) are the latest examples of the growing role of the Internet in politics. In this three-minute video, politics professor Paul Freedman gives an overview of online communication in American politics. The video includes bonus footage.
