UVA Art Professor Teaches Students to Think with Their Hands
The first weekend of November was a star-studded one at the University of Virginia, thanks to the 31st annual Virginia Film Festival.
To help library employees increase their cultural fluency and improve the library’s services and resources, a new organization-wide goal asks them to “develop and implement a plan to better understand life experiences that are significantly different from your own.”
The 2018 Virginia Film Festival, sponsored by UVA, announced that actor Christoph Waltz will join a host of special guests, including Martin Luther King III. The festival, to be held Nov. 1-4, also added several films to its already-robust program.
