Virtual Town Hall for Faculty, Staff and Students Will Address COVID-19 Concerns
On Friday, the University of Virginia will host a virtual town hall for students, faculty and staff to discuss plans and answer questions about the fall semester.The virtual town hall will be held on Zoom at 11 a.m. EST. President Jim Ryan, Provost Liz Magill, Executive Vice President for Health Affairs Dr. K. Craig Kent, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer J.J. Davis, Director of Hospital Epidemiology Dr. Costi Sifri and Vice President and Chief Student Affairs Officer Patricia Lampkin will lead the discussion and a moderated Q&A.Faculty, students and staff who wish to participate can register here and list any questions they have for UVA leaders. Similar virtual town halls for parents and community members will be held early next week.Live captioning will be provided during the event, and a recording with closed captioning will be available afterward.
