With the flames of the 2024 Paris Olympics and Paralympics extinguished, we celebrate the outstanding achievements of 20 current and former Wahoos who represented the United States and eight other countries on the world stage.

From Kate Douglas and Gretchen Walsh’s impressive multiple medals in in swimming to Emily Sonnett and the U.S. women’s soccer team win on the pitch and Sky Dahl’s silver in rowing, UVA-affiliated athletes brought home 15 medals from Paris.

Reflect on these remarkable athletes’ journeys and contributions to the 2024 Games.
