The looming domed structure of University Hall reflects in a puddle on the building’s terrace. “U-Hall” opened in 1965 and was home to many memorable UVA basketball games and concerts before the 2006 debut of John Paul Jones Arena. Later this year, the University of Virginia will commence demolition of University Hall as part of its master plan for athletics facilities.
