Evan Behrle and Charlie Tyson met as first-year students. After four accomplishment-filled years on Grounds, the Rhodes Scholars will start another academic adventure together in the fall, at Oxford University in England.

The 2008 drama grad performed an hour of stand-up comedy, touching on her first kiss, typical family problems, race, awkward sexual experiences, life in New York City and her recent experiences at “SNL.” She then fielded questions from students.

Lindsay Hinz, a student in U.Va.’s M.F.A. costume design and technology program, won the Zelma H. Weisfeld Award for her work, and has already sewn up several job offers as a result. She is the first costume technologist to receive the award.
